The Scientific Publications Manager (pubmgr) is a Web based Content Management System (CMS) that stores, organizes, and provides access to scientific publication collections.
Features of pubmgr and points that set it apart from existing solutions:
a minimal set of requirements (only PHP and PostgreSQL)
AJAX interface to make management fast and easy
small and simple
full and fast keyword search
Requirements: php, pgsql, php-pgsql
Extract all files to any web-accessible directory.
Run "setup.bash" to (re-)create the "pubs" database schema. You may want to modify this file.
Run "setup.bash --test-data" to set up the schema and insert test data into the database. You may want to edit this file - in particular, near the end are some commands granting the user "apache" permissions to use the tables.
You may also want to change the DB connection options in common.php.
